About this platform
This platform highlights the link between energy production and climate justice. It displays problematic issues related to renewable energy production, but also positive visions of how renewable energy can contribute to a societal transformation by improving livelihoods at the local level. We link local struggles and national advocacy with international climate negotiations. Climate Justice and sustainable local development need agreements at international level.
It is key that social aspects from the perspective of local communities are taken into account to achieve goals of the Paris Agreement in a climate justice manner.
